Meet our founder

I founded Physician Compensation Alignment Partners because I have spent more than 20 years watching physician compensation become one of the most consequential and undermanaged risk functions in healthcare.

My career began at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, where I was drafted into an under-resourced physician compensation function — undocumented agreements, opaque spreadsheets, no governance framework. I brought my engineering and analytical background to bear, deciphered what was there, and built a rigorous framework for incentive design and physician performance reporting from the ground up. I fixed it. And I never looked back.

Since then I have served as Vice President of Physician and Clinician Compensation at Duke University Health System, Senior Director of Compensation at UnitedHealth Group, Director of Compensation at US Acute Care Solutions, and Manager of Compensation at Advocate — working alongside CMOs and CFOs at organizations ranging from community health systems to Fortune 5 companies to nationally recognized not-for-profit health systems and academic medical centers. In each of those environments my role was the same: bring order, rigor, and strategic alignment to one of the most complex and high-stakes functions in healthcare.

Along the way I have had the privilege of working with many of the brightest physician and operational leaders in the field, and of training the next generation of compensation analysts who carry this work forward.
